Creative writing excursions

Creative writing journeys are adventures with pen and paper. I offer group city tours with stimulations for creative writing in Berlin. Educational holidays for anyone with an appetite for creative writing and other writing excursions can be arranged.

Salons

I have run several different literary salons in Berlin:
The "Gespinste-Salong" in Café Nil (together with Nina Pohl, 1999) used to invite to readings, creative writing games and music, monthly, until the closure of the café. It also published a local zine - the "Gespinste-Blaettchen from rough Friedrichshain".

The "First Berlin Writing Salon" in Art- and Culture house KNORRE, invited in 2000 publicly to literary socials and offered "creative writing nights".

During 1999-2002 I and Xochil A. Schuetz invited Berlin's literary people weekly to "Theodora's Literature Salon", where they would present and discuss their own texts. In the literature contest the best texts were awarded prices. Theodora's Literature Salon took place at changing venues: Restaurant Theodor Tucher, Arkona-Kino, Kulturbrauerei, Café Rasputin, Café Sybille.
Theodora's Literature Salon can still be visited in Cyber space at:

Friedrichshain's Kaleidoscope of Memories

Friedrichshain's Kaleidoscope of Memories is a creative writing workshop that includes several generations for biographic writing. People of different age groups write about their memories, following creative impulses. Like that, personal experiences become pieces of contemporary history and give rise to conversation.
The group published three anthologies.
